Anyone looking for an eerie adventure needs to download this app to their smartphone. Explore hundreds of abandoned locations, all added to the extensive database by users. Browse locations near you by using GPS technology or a list of locations according to state. You might be surprised by the number of forgotten buildings, overgrown homes and even centuries-old cemeteries that society no longer visits.

First and foremost, the number of locations in this app is impressive. For those of us who enjoy stepping into the past (and possibly encountering something spooky), this app provides images, historical descriptions, star ratings and user comments about various locations all over the country. The map feature is handy with options to view your location in satellite or normal street mode. Or, you can use the provided longitude and latitude coordinates to pinpoint your destination of interest.

The best part of this app is the ability for you to add your own locations to the growing database. Take a picture of that creepy house in your neighborhood and upload the photo with information such as structure type, possible (present or past) owner, current condition status, and any warnings you may deem necessary. Then let others rate your location and add comments of their own.

We found this app to be fun if you either want to see how brave your friends are or if you simply want to celebrate Halloween. Keep an eye on the “What’s new” button, and be sure to add your favorite spots to your personal list. This app is easy to use and sure to inspire an adventure (if you dare). Who knows what you might find!
