Crackle Movies & TV

Sony Picture Studios’ Crackle app is a lot like Netflix’s iPhone app. It allows you to use a Wi-Fi or 3G Internet connection to stream a huge number of TV shows and movies for free, straight to your iPhone (and soon to your Android smartphone). Crackle’s streaming quality is actually pretty high and includes some great films, like Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II, and TV shows such as Seinfeld and Nurse Jackie.

Crackle isn’t filled to the brim with content just yet, but in the few short weeks after its release, it had already uploaded a giant number of films and TV shows, which was a good sign of things to come. In fact, films and TV shows are being added all the time. There’s not much to complain about, given the quality of Crackle’s streaming and the fact that it costs absolutely nothing. We say grab it and start watching.
