ESPN ScoreCenter

ESPN ScoreCenter is all about keeping sports fans connected to their favorite teams. The first time you fire up the app, you’ll tell ScoreCenter which teams in which major sports you want to follow. From then on, opening the app brings up a list of news stories about your teams, as well as game summaries, stats and scores from the latest games played by your teams. It’s a lot of information presented quickly, without excessive frills like photos or videos that would slow down the experience.

Page over to one of ESPN ScoreCenter’s other tabs and the app delivers more sports information not tied specifically to your teams. One section is filled with summaries and scores of the latest games happening that day, both upcoming and already finished; others bring up lists of all the games going on in a particular league. All in all, ESPN ScoreCenter is packed with simple information that sports fans can grab quickly and easily over a 3G or a Wi-Fi connection. It’s not for in-depth sports analysis or getting into the action, but if you want to keep up with your teams and leagues wherever you are, ScoreCenter will keep you in the loop.
