League of Evil

If you’re looking to try one of the best games in the iTunes App Store, look no further than League of Evil. This 2-D title is in the same vein as games like Super Mario Bros., complete with an 8-bit, pixelated art style like old-school Nintendo games and simple but highly responsive touch controls. In fact, it’s the touch controls in League of Evil that make it such a quality game, and why Ravenous Games’ titles have succeeded where so many other iPhone games have failed. Put simply, they react to the slightest touch as if there were real buttons beneath your thumbs, rather than just virtual ones.

There’s also a lot of bang for your buck in League of Evil: It comes with more than 130 levels, and Ravenous keeps updating it with even more content. The game is highly challenging, requiring a lot of skill and precision on your part, but it’s not so tricky as to be annoying. We think there are a lot of games in the App Store that wish they could be the quality experience League of Evil is.
