Not so great at managing your money? As they say, there’s an app for that — or, at least, to help you with it. Personal Finance lets you keep track of all of your accounts (checking, property, vehicle, credit card, savings, investment, real estate and credit score), set budgets and watch what you spend — all at a glance.

What’s most helpful about this app is that it categorizes your expenses for you and even offers recommendations on how you can better save your money. (Wonderful, as long as you can get past the fact that a phone is telling you how you should be spending your hard-earned cash!)

There’s a lot to keep track of, but is well organized, has an intuitive interface and is very easy to use. It’s a great resource even for the least technologically advanced person. Older people might find Mint a handy tool to have for retirement planning and even for keeping an eye on funds post-retirement.

One drawback: New accounts cannot be added through the app. You have to do that on the app’s mother site. A small price to pay, we think.
