If you love the interactivity of Instagram but are looking for a change, Streamzoo may have your name written all over it. Like Instagram and other photo apps, Streamzoo allows you to share your photos with other Streamzoo users. You can also follow users and hashtags by searching different people, topics and keywords. There are 18 filters (given quirky names such as Toy Hipster, Old School, Masterpiece and Sunshine), 15 borders to make your photo look retro or vintage and six crop shapes to choose from. You also have the option to manually edit your picture’s brightness, contrast, hue and saturation.

But why stop at just pictures? The most important feature that takes Streamzoo a step above Instagram is the app’s ability to upload videos to your media stream as well. Sometimes a still photograph just doesn’t do your exciting life justice, so keep your Streamzoo followers in the loop with video clips of what you’re doing in the moment. We can’t think of a better way to share your experiences to their full potential.

Another aspect of Streamzoo that differentiates it from Instagram is the Badges feature. You can unlock different badges by posting to your favorite photo streams, such as Sunsetter, Foodie, Beach Bum, Sky Walker and many more. Oh, and did we mention Streamzoo was named the Best Photo Sharing App for Android by the 2011 Best App Ever Awards? That’s pretty cool too.
