You can’t escape from TV’s toughest trainer! The Jillian Michaels Fitness Motivation app pumps out workouts and tools with one goal in mind: to get you in shape. You can use the app simply to track your fitness and weight-loss goals and to count calories, but what fun is that? Instead, use Jillian’s video workouts to create your own routine. While the videos focus mainly on strength training, there’s also a running section that offers GPS tracking and automatic pace information, plus run logs.

Unfortunately, the interface and menus can sometimes be a bit tricky to navigate, and the newsletter sign-up option is (annoyingly) always on the main splash page. However, this is still a worthwhile app, especially since it features one of the most sought-after and truly motivating trainers around (all that abuse? you gotta love it). Plus, it’s free. If you’re looking to get in shape, give this app a shot.
