If you’re anything like us, getting your pets to pay attention long enough to snap a good photo is about as easy as taking a meat bone away from a hungry pooch. Fortunately, developer Space Lama has come up with an app that makes the picture-taking battle a little easier.
At its core, PetSnap is just a photography app that also includes some frames and borders you can put around your photos. It’s designed for taking pet photos, however, and includes a few features that can help with that — namely, an optical zoom option, plus several sounds you can play from the app to get your pet’s attention so you can snap the perfect shot. They’re useful features, provided the pet in question cooperates and looks up.
You can also change the resolution of your photos before you take them and share shots through Facebook and email. Though perhaps not the deepest photography app, PetSnap’s sounds do help get some great pet images (they make for good prank shots of your friends, too).
